By agreeing to our quotation you are agreeing to these terms and conditions listed below
Payment upon completion (unless agreed otherwise before work is started).
All quotations are only valid for 30 days after the date of the quote.
All materials provided come with 2 years labour and parts warranty ( This does not include damage from misuse).
Any materials provided by client will not be given any warranty.
Any work requiring a deposit will need to be paid before work commences (deposit amount will depend on size of job).
All materials installed or onsite will remain the property of J C Electrical (Hemsworth) limited until paid for in full.
Clients should not handle or deface or remove any materials until paid for in full.
All Goods supplied to be of satisfactory quality (within the meaning of the Sale of Goods Act 1979).
If there are any requests by the client to revise works to be completed on site which is deemed to be more than 10% of the current time scale given the additional works may need to be booked in at a later date and along side this there will be additional costs included.
Client is to remove any waste from the job once completed at the premises all waste will be put into boxes or black bags ready for removal or client to provide a skip.
Access to the working area should be clear of furniture, fittings and fixtures and fail to do so could result in additional costs of up to £75 per hour for moving items for access or loss of time while we have to wait for items to be removed for us to work payable within 7 days of date work was due to Commence. (Unless agreed otherwise).
Where it’s not possible to provide a quote because of unforeseeable circumstances or where work has been started and we come across any issues/problems resulting in more work or materials needed to complete the job there may be an estimate given this is not an exact price and the price on the estimate may vary from costs given.
We reserve the rights to ask for stage payments for jobs that are carried out over period a period of time and each stage payment would need to be received in full before the next stage could be completed
If the client cancels within 14 days prior to the agreed start date then the client will be responsible for paying £150 or 10% of the job cost which ever is higher, if the client cancels within 7 days prior to the agreed start date then the client will be responsible for paying £300 or 20% of the job cost which ever is higher, this fee will be payable within 7 days of cancellation.
If the client is to make changes to the agreed works this will result in changes to the price and will need to be agreed upon with a minimum for 48 hours before works are due to start.
Any payments not made upon completion of works may be subject to to 3 percent additional charge per day therefore after until funds are received.
No clients personal data will be shared with any third party organisations only time clients name and address may be use is on formal documents only including of the following Invoices and electrical test certificates.
Client should not be within the confines of the work space/area due to health and safety / insurance reasons the working space/area are subject to P.P.E conditions and Insurance conditions and therefore anyone not working in accordance to our P.P.E conditions or insurance conditions cannot be within the working space/area.
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform, nor be deemed to be in default, under this Agreement for any delay or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, acts of Governmental authorities, acts of terrorism, natural catastrophe, fire, storm, flood, earthquake, riot, insurrection, civil disturbance, sabotage, embargo, blockade, acts of war, accident, epidemics, lightning damage, electromagnetic interference, radio interference, strikes, industrial dispute, power failure or any other cause beyond its reasonable control..
